Default Heater Control Valve

Hello all,

I just purchased a 92 Volvo 240 and so far enjoying this car a lot. I did the retrofit and charged the A/C system with R134a freon. Air does not come cool enough trough the vents; but after reading some of the postings in this and other forums I think the problem is with a faulty heater control valve. I came to this conclusion because there is warm air coming out of the vents even when I move the temperature control to cold (A/C off). The freon shows good pressure by the way.

I have not been able to find the procedure to replace this valve, not even in the Haynes book. Has anybody done this job?

Jorge

I believe it is in the Dash. But not 100% sure.
