Help with 1986 240DL Wiring
Hello all,
A friend of mine owns a shop and a client gave him a 240 DL automatic wagon with about 85K miles on it because it wouldn't start and they upgraded. After storing it for a couple of years, he has offered to give it to my teenage son for the cost of troubleshooting the non-start condition just to get it out of storage. There's a small wrinkle under one of the headlights and the interior is terrific.
Well, Matt was finally able to get into it and found that someone tried to troubleshooting it already. Unfortunately, their method involved disconnecting all the wires from the ignition switch before they gave up. Does anybody have a wiring diagram that they could scan and email or a site to go to? Dave Barton kindly pointed me toward K-Jet.org, but the electrical diagrams only go to 1985 and I'm not sure they completely apply, (can anyone confirm that the 1985 240 wiring is the same as the 1986 model?).
Anyhow, any guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
