My Volvo 240DL engine has been doing this shaking thing, like this unstable sound, and the engine not being consistently running. I just replaced the airflow sensor and that's the only thing my mechanic said was wrong with it. Any suggestions? It will do it when I'm stopped and when I'm driving.

Any help would be much appreciated!

 

Most shaking motors are misfires. Have you done a tune up lately?
