Default Help with spark plug wires. New and old.

Hey all

In tuneing up my 1986 740 GLE i tryed to put some new sparkplugs in the thing but i have run into a problem. The first and shotest wire was not "clicking" on like the other 3 so i tryed to fix it myself but that dident work to well. Even if i can get the wire on pretty tight the car starts but then when i give it a bit of gas it just conks out. So i know that this wire needs to go. I suspect it was bad before i even messed with it because when i reved the car in neutral it gave me a studder every so often and now i have made it worse. Anyway i found a set of wires for 35.00 before shipping but i just have one question before i order them. In the web site it says the following...

Part Description:
Spark plug wire set for any 740 B230F 85-88, 89-92 B230F, 740 T 85-92 all, 760T all, 780T all, 940 91-95. Coil wire included for Bosch coil. Add 6842734 for Regina[Rex] coil.

Installation & Technical Notes:
Add 6842734 for Regina[Rex] coil.

That last part is what is hanging me up a bit. What is a rex coil? And how do i know if i need it?

Thanks guys!

The Regina coil was fitted to the B230F Regina engine from 1991. Your coil should be Bosch.

Ok thanks guys. Heres the deal now. I went to my local autozone because they always have Bosch in stock and i got a set of wires for 40 bucks. Came home and the end was diffrent, the tips were a bit longer and would not fit into my distributer. So i dont know, i guess there are certin diffrent kind of wires and i jsut got the wrong ones. I have attached some photos to show what i am talking about.

This first picture is the wires that came off my car and this is the type i need. I found it on E-Euro parts for 44 bucks so im going to buy that set.
