Ha, just noticed that the horn wasn't working on the "new" 88 240 DL. pulled the cover off the horn and could see a red wire that wasn't attached to anything. When I connected this to the black wires that run to the switches for the horn (4 corners) the horn worked fine.

Where does this red wire connect to? Any easy way to remove the plastic cover behind the wheel to put this all back together?

 

Easy fix, difficult access. The red wire plugs in right behind the black wire. Getting to it is very difficult. I don't know how/why that red wire was unplugged but I'd like to shoot the guy who unplugged it for whatever reason and didn't plug it back in. Oh well, horn is back.
