How do I find the key for my 940 turbo
Hello All,
I have a problem. When I bought my 93' 940 turbo i weas only given the valet key and never the master key and I want to know if I was trying to buy a duplicate key how could I get a master key instead of a valet key? Also does anyone know if these cars come equiped with remote standard or optional?

The 940's in the U.S. never had remotes.
There is a difference in the groove cut into the flat part of the key that determains wether it is a valet or master key.
I think yours might even have a laser cut key as well.
Just ask for a master key.

I have a similar situation w/ my wife's 850 GLT. I was told by the dealer here in Anchorage. AK the only way to get another key is to order it from Sweden @ $135 a pop. So was I given bad info? Or is it diffrent for that car.. Sorry to butt in to the thread. But didn't think this warrented a new one.

If so it can be copied by the Dealer or Locksmith shop.
