Hi!

How do you get the tachometer to work when swapping the engine in a 740 to, for example, a T5 or BMW engine? I've looked into installing a 960 inline-six in the 740. The RPM signal from the 960 ECU is 3 pulses per RPM, while the 740 tachometer reads 2 pulses per RPM. I'm wondering if you can swap in a 960 tachometer into the 740 instrument cluster, or if there are other clever solutions?
