Default How much should I consider paying for an '83 242 turbo?

Car in question is an '83 242 turbo coupe. I don't know too much about the car as of yet. Seller is going to get me some pictures tommorrow. I don't know the mileage yet either.

What I do know:
Owner claims to have all receipts from the day the car left the boat. 3rd owner.
Car is a 4-speed (which means an M46, I think)
Interior claimed to be in good shape.
Turbo is claimed to be good.
Recent clutch and brakes.
Bottom half of body has been cleaned up and repainted. Car has 'minimal' rust...take that as you will.
AC claimed to be functional.
Claims it was dealer-maintained.

I guess i don't know all that much about the older Volvo turbos. Basically, in addition to the normal 240 problems, I know that underhood heat can affect the wiring harness (new ones available for reasonable prices, and they aren't crazy complex) and the Bosch K-Jet is pretty crude. Otherwise, not sure. If any swede-o-philes out there know anyone with experience with these, I'd be glad to hear any inputs.

Car does come with a pile of spare junk Transmissions, body parts, interior stuff. I haven't seen pics of the cars yet, he's sending me some tonight. So, given a 242 turbo in pretty good shape, what would I expect to spend?

About me:
Well, I'm Andy, I'm a college student, I live in the Milwaukee region of Wisconsin, and these are my current drivers:

The guy has been a bit cagey about telling me the asking prices. I'm guessing I'll end up dealing with some guy who has delusions of the car's value and thinks he's going to get money back after being bent over by the dealership, but who knows. Bricks just plain aren't worth a lot.

That is a totally different car. That is a 262 different Beast.

The 242 turbo's are getting rare and hard to come by. The price might be a little on the higher side.
Also remember the Age. It is an Antique now.
But once those cars are tuned right they are Awesome.
Setup pretty much stock with a bump of Boost on the stock turbo they will run With Mustangs 5.0 ones.
If it were me And I had the Money to spend I would get it.
