From HUBCAPS to WHEELS!
Hey VF, went to the junkyard n saw great looking wheels from a '94 850 & '98 S70 (wheel size 195/60/r15) & was wondering if they can fit my '94 940 (size 185/60/r15). All have five nuts. Would very much like to upgrade from HUBCAPS, man, but i'm not familiar with offsets n differentials n the like. Please advise. Much Thanks

without a 20mm spacers, the FWD wheels will sit too far in on RWD cars. RWD Volvo's have +20 or +25mm offset wheels, while the FWD cars are +40mm or +45mm.
* like all good rules, there's an exception. the 1996+ Volvo 960/S90/V90 were RWD but used FWD offset wheels

I really appreciate the advice and I took the initiative to look up cost for 940 spacers on a couple websites, n yeah, they're a bit pricy. But at least I have an idea of what i'm working with n how to approach the issue. Thanks again.
