Talking I did it! the 240 blower motor

Well, last night around 9, i went into the belly of the beast, and replaced my 240 wagons blower motor. It was definately a tremendous, heinous ordeal. I had to remove both sides of the housing, enjoying the clips and all they had to offer. After removing everything but the back seat and duc spare tire to make room for the massive amounts of stuff I had to remove. My opinion...the clips that hold the impeller blades are truly an exercise in frustration. (btw, PLEASE learn from my agony and stuff a rag into the rear ductwork because my clip fell into it, and I had to remove the rear floorboard ductwork to retreive it) Well I just wanted to give myself a high five, and not one screw was left over. It all works just fine, and I can travel in comfort. p.s... 9 hours. I forgot to put the od ground wire on and almost lost my mind when the arrow came on. All is well with her.

thanks! i was able to ride around with my windows up for the first time this summer. My son said it was "too cold" in the car for him lol. I gave him his blanket and we both just smiled. Even took Buck the dog for a ride.

Way to go, Buck! I recently replaced mine and I feel your pain. The only worse job I've ever done was pulling the dash from my Mercedes 420 SEL to replace vacuum pods. That 240 blower motor is a BEEAHTCH!
