Idk 240 Dl
Hi, when I start the car it will run then cut off. It will do this 2-3 times before it stays on and runs fine. Any Ideas of what might be the problem?. Also when I'm driving and am close to stopping the car will sometimes jerk. Thanks

what do you own?
Fuel pressure regulator or intake leak...
experience: 87 240 wagon ...when reaching a stop the engine would jerk or race up to take off...it was a disconnected house...intake.
Haynes check list:
1) Loose or faulty electrical connections at distributor, coil or alternator
2) insufficient fuel reaching carb or injectors......I SUSPECT THIS IS IT
3) Faulty ballast resistor....I have one but on a 79...I think they only go up to 83 or so?
4) Malfunctioning fuel injection system...check your pumps
5) Faulty fuel relay....MY SECOND GUESS
