Default Ignition Coil Swap 850 Turbo to a 240 DL

I replaced my old 240 coil with an 850 Turbo....................it worked great but noticed a little bit more fuel consumption. If you couple the coil with 850 turbo injectors it might work better....

I had an emergency and had the 850 coil....that is why I installed it on my 240 wagon.

Are you going to get a new coil or are you just going to run the 850 coil?

Be aware that coils are matched to the ignition system. Primary and secondary resistances of coils are very important. If they are too far off spec for the car, the coil can either burn out or damage the circuitry that controls the coil long term.
Loss of power could indicate the coil is the wrong specs too.

Regards, Andrew.

It runs a little better...meaning a slight pick up...no I won't leave it on....I just got an original one....I used it for about two days....

It started better
but spent more fuel...
