Just bought this tonight, $1050.. 110K miles / 190,000KM.

LOVE IT, but I have some questions regarding maintained...

basically the service logbook history is like..

drive 5000 kilometers
EFI Major service
Drive 5000 kilometers
Oil change
Drive 5000 kilometers
EFI major service.

At least 4-5 EFI services were done, is this anything to do with the oil thing? flame trap / PCV valve etc? I've read they clog up pretty commonly and then the car runs poorly, so it would seem this EFI major service is actually referring to cleaning the .. things that block up

Drives very nice though, proud to be a member of the Volvo family.. feels like it was built yesterday, suspensions nice, gearbox shifts perfectly (has had very frequent services), engine is great etc.

 

the factory service schedule was more like.... 5000 *miles*, oil change, 5000 *miles*, oil change, 5000 miles, minor service/inspection, repeat, but at 30K miles, it was a major service/inspection.
