Hello everyone! I'm here to ask you about the third row of seats. I bought one without its belts (I attach photos) and I was wondering if I can mount this bench (I do not have the homologation is only for personal pleasure) and secure it with aftermarket belts, I have seen that on amazon they sell universal belts. Has anyone ever found themselves in my situation? moreover, it has never happened to me to find volvo 240 benches with belts too, or I will be unlucky ... or in Italy they have imported very few of Volvos that fitted ste benches and therefore are extremely rare. Thanks for your help in advance.
ps:they gave me belts together with the bench ... but I don't think they are fine, they seem to me those of the rear sofa, but I could get wet.

I have removed several seats and thrown them away but I don't remember the belts exactly.
You can get the belts probably from voluparts.com here in the US, may be he will ship them to you.
You could use universal belts, why not?
These belts for the back facing seats are not that critical, after all in most accidents the inertia is forward--I do realize that in roll over the belts would have more of a function but, well, life is not a perfect proposition.

 

I will try to install it over the weekend, first of all I have to disconnect it from the base that represents the hatch of the 240 in the trunk. unfortunately it was screwed with wood screws I know. originally sits there with nuts screws, right? do you remember the size?
