I have thought that perhaps the pump--Bosch and all-is noisy and also certainly about the issue with the deposits on the tank having to slowly be pushed through the fuel pump, filter, etc. It's just the fact that the three factors (noisy pump all the time, hesitation only under high load and hesitation under high load only when the tank is less than half full) are combined and still present after replacing so many things that bugs me and my curiosity....
  • The thing about the #11 fuse immediately reminded me of an ’88 Saab 900 issue that stumped me for a year. Ran perfectly for about 30-60 sec on cold start then barely. On the umpteenth diagnostic foray I unplugged the O2 sensor and it ran perfectly. The heater circuit was shorted in the sensor allowing the 12v dc signal to reach the ECU. The intersection of that with your post is that the fuse that powers the pre-pump on my early 90’s 940s that have one also powers the O2 sensor heater circuit.
