Is there an easy way to jump out and apply direct power to the AC compressor to test it. Have taken the system down to vacuum and replenished Freon and tested the relay but the compressor won't start.

 

there's only one wire to the compressor that comes through from the pressure switches.... jumper this wire to +12V, the compressor clutch should engage. Its pretty hard to fill the freon if the compressor isn't running to pump it through the system.
