Anything i should look out for? the owner said that it has over 200000 miles but its still on its original clutch... I seemed skeptical so i already ordered a clutch kit for it.

Am i right in assuming this is the more desirable transmission?

 

well, the m47's 5th gear is a bit weak.
mine startet humming in 5th after barely 400.000km .. a scandal!

but in all seriousness, the 5th gear on that seems to be a bit underengineered,
so especially if you want a bigger engine or more power expect your 5th to not survive for long.

mine, with the stock 116hp b230f, still lasts tho.. despite some humming.
