Just did my front breaks
So my breaks were feeling a little bad and making some noise from time to time, so i just went out and changed the front pads. When i took the old pads off i saw that the old pads had a lot of life left in them. Anyway i put the new pads on and my car feels much better and i was wondering why my old pads werent that worn at all, and maybe by me changing the pads and moveing the calipers etc... maybe they were stuck? Something like that, and i fixed the problem if any? Im just wondering. Thanks.
i know that my 740 squeels when sometimes stopping and took it in and they said they were all 75% and that volvos (especially older one) are notorious for squeaky brakes, so i kinda just live with it and work around it by braking differently.......
Most squeeling comes from Aftermarket Brake pads. They are alot harder than Volvo pads. They take alot longer to wear out than the Volvo pads.
Usually like 2 sets of OEM to one set aftermarket.
I prefer OEM.
