Locking Petrol Cap
Hi
does anyone happen to have an original, genuine Volvo locking petrol cap on their 240?
I was wondering what it looks like, does anyone have a picture?
thank you.

im not sure what they look like,
thats what I want to know,
so I can look around the wreckers for one, but I don't want a generic one, I want the genuine thing,
if I can locate one.

I was thinking the oil cap......crap......They are red and heavy....the plastic is kind of porous. I had to get rid of mine do to smog crap here in CA and installed a toe nail of an aftermarket crap
I don't think those caps have changed much over the years. My 960 cap looks a lot like my '87 740 GLE cap. Do you want to see one of those? I put a store bought cap on my 960 and the thing broke in pieces in less than 6 months. I went to a junk yard and got a real Volvo cap.

Sure, if you have a picture that would be great, thank you.
