Recently, I put a CD player in my 1992 740 Wagon and I thought everything had gone as planned until I found out that night the headlights were out. The CD player worked fine but the headlights would only work when I held back the highbeam switch on the steering column. So, I removed the CD player, checked the fuses and the bulbs themselves, and opened up the BCM to see if anything was fried with no luck. I checked the relays as well but didn't notice anything unusual. Any Ideas? I previously had a 940 and had no problems with the tedious task of wiring a CD player (through the amp and all.) I'm just hot here in TN and running out of ideas. Thanks!
