Tjenare allihopa! Jag har en Volvo 740 med dubbla lådor, m47 o m40. Jag har ryckspärr till m40 lådan men får bara i R12 när den är i och när den inte är i, finns det något sätt att få i alla växlar? Är den svetsad isf vart eller sitter det någon bricka någonstans? Jag är inte jätte kunnig om bilar eller växellådor överhuvudtaget så behöver hjälp! Tack i förväg!

 

Hello, I am not familiar with a jerk lock for the Volvo transmission (may be a translation issue) but based on your description it sounds like the 3/4 synchronizer may be bad. R/1/2 is usually on the same syncro. Can you shift into 3/4 with the engine off?

 

No i cant!

 

I would check the clutch next, to make sure it disengages the transmission from the engine. Even if the syncros are bad, you should be able to push in the clutch and shift the transmission through the gears when the engine is off. Hopefully only the throwout fork or bearing are stuck.
