making a fuse box
Finding replacement fuses for my 1990 240is a bit of a hassle here in Hawaii. I am thinking about making a fuse box with modernfuses. I have some mechanical and electrical know how. I probably won't have to hard of a time doing it, but I am wondering if anyone has tried any thing like this. If so can you give me a few tips?
When I went to Oahu I saw a Volvo dealership near the airport, it was a main road/highway...nimitz? it was next to the beach, kind of close to a shopping plaza and the department of homeland security. If that helps.
Unless you're just dying for a challenging project, I'd let the internet be my friend. Plenty to be found on eBay as well.

if you click on this forums sponsors, then click on europarts direct, then type fuse in the search box you will find what you need. they do 8/16/25 amp ceramic in packs of 100.enough to keep you going for the next twenty years.
If it's a tip you're looking for I would buy several fuse packs off ebay that contain a variety of fuses, then clean all of the contacts and replace every one of them. I did this not too long ago to my 240 and haven't had a problem with the fuses making contact since.
