I'm in need of a 15 inch 20 spoke Volvo 940 rim and was wondering the going rate. What should I expect to pay? It's my first car and even though I'm the third generation in my family that has used this same car, I really love it. I've been working on getting it up to date. I'm replacing the shock absorbers today, recently painted the sides, although the hood, trunk and roof really needs to be painted. I also changed the oil. It needs some electrical and a/c repair, but I'm working on it. I'm a full time law student and really depend on my car but can't really afford too much, so I try and do as best I can. I'm new to this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should post a picture so we know which wheels you're talking about. My guess would be $100 each.

 

I think you mean a rim called Aries, not popular or rare. You should be able to get one for $25 to $50 with a tire. Junkyards are your best bet, or try Craiglist, depending on where you live you should be able to get one easily.

 

my 92 745T came with aries on it, 2 were bent. i scored 4 Hydra 16" turbo rims, and gave the two bent ones to hte hydra seller to prop up the driveway project the hydras were under, and sold the two straight ones to a kid for $50 each with worn but servicable tires (he'd just bent his front two on a curb, and it was his dads car, so he was very happy).

note that the 16" tires for Hydra rims will harsh up your ride a little.
