Got an 85 740 GLE station wagon that was in a rear collision![:@] The trans and engine mounts are shot and the whole engine looks like it has shifted back ward pulling the front of the radiator out of the upper clamps. Got the trans mount and motor mounts today. Looks like the motor mount is pretty involved. Can some give me some info on changing out the motor mounts?[8D]

 

The easiest way is to remove the engine mount top nuts. Then jack up the engine and remove the mounts with the lower brackets and change the mounts.

 

Always replace the engine mount one at a time.
