Default My First Volvo.

Hey guys I just picked up a 94 940 wagon. Just curious as to how big the aftermarket is. Anything can help. She's bone stock. B230tf. It's automatic with 123k miles on it. I wanna get coils/ lowering springs but not sure where to start looking. Trying to avoid eBay/Amazon. I'm also curious about any performance enhancements I can do. What swaps bolt right is and if there is a possibility of going with a manuel trans. Any exterior parts as well. Fender flares, over fenders different head lights / tail lights.

Thanks in advanced

Welcome! (But) The TURBOBRICKS Forum would probably be a better forum for what you are wanting to do.

Volvos manual transmissions weren't that great. long throw shift, tall gear spacing, not very sporty. the 5-speed wasn't rugged enough to deal with a stock turbo, never mind one thats been stage II or III upgraded. the turbo manuals used a 4 speed gearbox with electric overdrive. The AW71 automatic you've got now is a much heavier duty transmission (its a heavy duty version of the same transmission as Toyota used on many generations of RWD cars like turbo supras from the 80s, 2WD pickup trucks from the 90s, etc).
