Default My new 940 but what's with those wheels?

after three months and a 300 mile radius I could not find my Eleanor so I gave up and brought her older sister which had more miles (124K) and less options (no sunroof) but was priced right (I think) at $2k.

I fear low mileage RWD one or two owner bricks are becoming very scarce! I found this one on the Cadillac dealers transport heading to auction and talked the owner of the dealership to letting me buy it. A neighbor had traded it in on her new Caddy.
A couple of questions:
What was the "limited Edition" badge on the front fenders and what's with those wheels? anybody want to trade for some OEM?
and
I hate all the wood veneer on the dash? What can I do to remove or replace it?

Dude NICE CAR! Though, the wheels are very Miami Viceish!... On those, a lot of dealers that sold them always had an aftermarket wood grain kit put on it to jack up the price... Looks clean. Post pics of the inside!

Car looks nice...I have never heard of a limited edition.....

Trim should pop off and you should be able to find the black trim pieces off another car.

You can take the alternator to autozone and have it tested....

Wait for others to reply

After some serious consideration, I think you should kep th ewheels.
But, you should also do some more 80's mods to compliment them. Paint bumpers and side mirrors plus door handles and body side mouldings.
Those wheels were THE THING to have in teh 80's and you were teh man if you had them.

Regards, Andrew.

Andrew, not only did I live through the 80s, I worked a lot on Miami Vice and yes, these are very Ferrari testarossa-y, the only problem is, this car is Swedish not Italian and I'm an old fart and like the classic look. I was going to paint them black and put them on my kids 240 but adub has a better idea.
But thanks for the suggestion
