Default Need Advice in Vol 240 purchase

I am considering purchase of 240 '91 with about 135000 miles. The record shows that 1) valve cover gasket is seeping and 2) brake fliud failed test,3)a/ccompressor seeping/leaking at shaft seal.

Is this a sign of anything serious? Could you guess how many hours of labor and parts cost? Thanks.

Sounds like someone neglected some preventative maintenance.... Valve cover gasket is actually cake to do and the part is cheap http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exe...1983-1984+(OEM). Brake fluid should be easy to change out and then bleed. You can actually do both your self in one day. As far as the compressor is done, depends on how handy you are.

I was able to find the correct A/C compressor seal and replaced it without difficulty for just a few bucks. Any shop will want to replace the compressor for a few hundred.
