I looked up rear Bilstein shocks for my 1990 240 and came up with part number 24-002967, B6 (HD). What I am looking for is the eye size, eye to eye length when fully compressed and when fully extended. I am trying to source shocks that are 2" - 3" longer than stock for my lifted 240 project.

I have read that S10 front shocks bolt on but are 2" too shorter. No problem, buy S10 shocks for a 4" lift S10 which would equate to 2" longer than stock length 240 shocks. The problem with this is that a lot of the shocks designed for the 4x4 world are not the quality of Bilsteins.

My rear coils are Moog CC217 heavy duties.

Any advice?.
