Default need some ideas....

92 745 turbo, I keep getting too much pressure down into the crankcase, blowing the dipstick out of the tube. I've replaced the oil trap box with a new unit, replaced a couple of the intake elbows, but still wants to build up pressure into the crankcase, and spit oil out the tube and all over the engine compartment. I haven't run a compression test on the cylinders, but car runs better than it should, and doesn't burn any oil...

could I maybe have some oil build-up in the intercooler causing pressure to back up through the pcv hose and into the trap box/cranckcase?

Your oil level correct? You said that you replaced some elbows, but have you replaced the rubber tube? They can get blocked with oily gunk. Have you made sure that you can blow through the whole pcv system? That's all I can think of right now.

yea joe, the oil level has never gone above or below the full/add marks on the stick. when I first got the car, the vacuum port on the elbow (where the flame trap is on non-turbo cars) was clogged up, so I cleaned that out, and can blow through the entire line.

this thing has me baffled... between this and the problems I've had with the local DMV over this car, I'm about to just crush the stupid thing! If it just didn't run so good.........
