Just got in parts to fix my emissions flunking. The original O2 is mounted way
up in manifold area and new Cat has a threaded port for it in front of unit.
Can I just leave old unit where it is and cut wires, it looks like a bitch to get to and out.
Will O2 placement in Cat pipe affect reading? Thanks

You should be fine installing it like you want to.
