Default New owner of a 940T Wagon

So today I became, officially, the proud owner of a Volvo 940 Turbo Wagon. It's from 1997 (same date of birth as my wife, only 10 years younger), with a B230FK, M90 tranny and it has almost 500000km! It's a one owner car with all maintenance made at the Volvo dealership (proven by paperwork) including an engine rebuild in 2019 that cost almost 3k euros.
Drives great, sounds great and breaks great. Not sure if the turbo is 100%. I don't hear it kicking in. Also a minor issue with the ac. No leaks. No rust. Only a few scratches a 1 piece of trim missing.

Looks good, especially considering the 500K! I'd change that steering wheel, I couldn't live with it like that--not hard to find one used.

Yes, I'm trying to find one. Also missing a piece of trim on the front left fender. Not sure if it fell while driving home or what. And the headlight wipers. They headlights were changed in 2004 (front collision) and they didn't mount them. There are tiny plastic covers instead.

What do you think? Was it worth the trade? More kms for way better condition, proven history and single owner? Also 10km away from my house. Honestly if it wasn't for the engine rebuild i wouldn't have bought it. Too risky.

May be it didn't come with headlight washers? If it doesn't have them now, may be you don't need them. The curling up vinyl on the door panels would bug me more.
Time will tell if made the right choice but it's fairly cheap so you can't really lose. Just enjoy and hope it lives up to your expectations.

10-30 full syn.
I've been around cars, in all phases of the car business, for a very long time and that's why I never take "maintenance records" as a much of a proof of anything other than the owner paid for work which was may be performed. The "dealer" part is not very convincing either--they employ many incompetents as well. I am not crazy about rebuild engines, I rebuilt an engine when I was 17 yrs old and I learned my lesson, it really takes skill, equipment and knowledge that few have, I've never done it since. But, don't be put off by what I say--the car you got seems OK all things considered. There is some beauty in having a high mileage "survivor" in good shape, too much is bet on low mileage cars as people know to depend on little else.
