Looks like a fun project car. Coming from owning a Spitfire and loving the British cars I really like the uniqueness of the Volvos too. It is cool that there is still interest in the older Volvo cars and people like you willing to restore them. I have been thinking about finding a car like this and buying it for my 16 year old and the two of us restoring it for him to own and drive.

thanks man! yeah i am 19 and have had a array of volkswagens and bmw's now im getting into the volvo's because i am in love with there body lines!! And this car is a 1979 245dl and this model came with the 2.1l 4cyl.
