All Cressidas were RWD. And as mentioned, most auto and open diff.
There's an LS1 kit for the 84-88 Cressida, but I don't know if it works in the 82. I'd look.
Cressida was similar in existence to a 4-door Supra/Celica for most of its life. Being an 82, yours should have a straight six in it. Good motors, but all of 10 horsepower it seems.
If you've got a pickup though, you're familiar enough with Toyota engines to be able to work on the 5M.

Ohh ok, I didn't know that lol. And yeah I'll check that out whenever I get it. But nah, it isn't a pick up I own, it's one of the 4wd tercel station wagons, but yeah I hope I'm familiar enough with the older Toyota's, I guess we'll find out here soon enough! Thanks for help and advice!!

Ok, here's the update y'all, its getting great spark, the timing hasn't jumped, and its getting fuel to the fuel rail. It still isn't starting though... I know that it was flodded and I know that the ecu or whatever had been reset because the battery was completey dead for a while.

Its throwing codes 1-2-3 on plug 2 and code 2-2-4 on plug 6, which is bad ECT signal, how can I fix this and would that have something to do with it not starting?
