New on VOLVO and will buy a '95 940 wagon
Hello everyone, I had an issue with my wfe since she had an accident and wrecked her car, a friend of mine is selling cars from auctions and heoffered me a 1995 940 wagon no turbo, but all the leather interior, automatic electric windows etc etc. I have never owned a Volvo before so i am not sure if it is a good deal or not. The car has 110K miles on it, one owner, a lady from West palm Beach, i found all the records for the car since she tooked it out of the dealer.
The car looks great, so my real question is, if someone here has any comment for that car model and year to share with me, I will be very gratefull

Hi Tech, i went over the shop to take a look at the car, i found out it is a turbo intercooler engine....Does that means is going to be less economic than the non turbo one? please let me know if driving that wagon moderately will be around 23-25 MPG?
Also I am going to paint the door handles and the rearview mirrors the same color as the body, do you think its a good move?
Another question I have is that I didnt see any turbo gauge on the dash board, the turbo is on the engine and the vin number says its a turbo. Can you tell me if that is normal on the 940 '95 and at what RPM the turbo will engage.
Men the car is in awsome condition, the real thing to repair are the 2 headlights and the grill, nothing else was touched. I think I will have it on my hands next wednesday, so by then I will post pics.
Please please be honest it is a good buy? I am new on Volvos so that is why I want an expert opinion.
