no centre console lights!

no centre console lights!
hey guys
okay so after the fiasco with removing the stereo
ive found that i now have no centre lights (top row of buttons - ac, hazards, elec antenna up/down, fader, etc), no AC lights, and now my radio (stock) doesnt light up
the AC lights went previous to taking out the radio but the top row of lights still worked fine! there is no fuse that i can see that is broken
where do i look to replace the globes? and are they universal globes?
which brings me to my next question - is there a fuse box in the engine bay? the fuse information thing says there is but i can't see it!

get on the passenger seat(front)
take out the side cover(plastic) next to the fan button(your left leg)...you will find, kind of hidden a black/orange or white large relay. this controls all the stuff you mentioned, even to start the dam car. this went out on me the other day and got stranded for a bit.
