lol....so now I need to figure out if that sensor is caput or....all that gauge cluster swapping in and out somehow screwed up my connections....

I suppose it's feasible that the sensor fried when I accidentally shorted out my old cluster with the tach lead....oops.

If your speedo works then the rear axle sensor should be fine ... I would clear the code and see if it comes back, if it does you might clean the cluster connectors.

Update:

cleared the code. Code came back. It must be somewhere between the cluster and ECU. I checked the harnesses under the glove box and the plug to the ECU...haven't gotten around to taking the cluster out to clean those connections. I'll get there.
