Default Overdrive Button Delete

The previous owner of my 89 245 wagon put the IPD overdrive button delete kit on it so that it shifts itself into overdrive and the button on the shifter is inoperable. I hate it and I want the button back. How do I go about returning it to its origonal state. Thanks

If the button and wiring is all still there you will need to just get a soleniod and install it.

I think everything is still there. I will have to call the guy to find. Is this difficult?

When shifting on it's own, does it shift hard and sort of "clunk" into OD?

the car shifts fine. I would just like to have the button so I can down shift without using so much gas and to keep it out of overdrive when I need to. It shifts fine.
