Hey all....just a quick question. 91 740 turbo all is well except on occasion the over drive relay goes on when its not supose to (i dont hit the button) I know why this happens, it is because the relay is old and loose and i was just wondering if i was to remove the overdrive relay.....would that be ok. I never use the overdrive feature and would just like to rid myself of the problem of the OD relay kicking in when i dont want it to. Thanks.

 

If you remove the relay you will NOT HAVE OVERDRIVE.

 

Whether you know it or not, you do use the overdrive. Fix it.
