To paint or not to paint

To paint or not to paint
So I'm really happy with my 850.
But I want to do a few cheap and easy things to it until I get back on my feet and do some suspension work to it.
I have thought about painting my rims from silver to a light gunmetal color similar to the 92ish Saab 9000 turbo three spoke rims.
My friend says I should paint the gray trim gloss black on my car, but idk...kind of looks good like that.
Refer to my sig for image of car.
Thoughts?

RE: To paint or not to paint
Use plastic coat for the grill
For the body moldings I painted then back gray on my Yellow one using duplicolors molding paint.
Also for the wifes car I painted her rims with the duplicolors rim paint see pics below.
Before
After
Also one with the grill painted on the wifes car

RE: To paint or not to paint
Tech is seriously the nicest and most knowledgeable guy I have encountered on a car forum.
Anyway, I'll find the link to my intro thread and you can see pics of my 850.
The grille is painted black metallic/DARK gunmetal-ish leaving only the slant bar and Volvo emblem chrome.
I like the white car. I just don't know if it will flow with my car because its a dark color.
Hmm...
Well...the calipers are going to be painted Bronze tonight anyway...woot!

Oh...and ha....On my SC300 I have garden edging modded to the front lower bumper cover for a front lip.
I need to redo it better, but from ten feet back it looks SICK
I might do it to the 850, just not as DAAAAAAAYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUM!
The 850 isn't as VIP baller as my SC is...lol
Here are pics of my SC: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...;id=1159920004
Notice when I got it with the wangsta chrome rims and now with my five spokes in black.

Take a pic at my SC and let me know what you all think.
I have built that thing for cheap so far. Lots of mods for steal prices.
The Volvo is my savior so I can add a little snail action the 2JZ under the hood of the SC.
Decided against going with the 97+ front bumper so I can fix the body damage, repaint the front end (rest of the car is really nice) and boost the car.
