Potential dumb question re: high beams
Thank you Jagtoes. I picked up some aftermarket halogens, and they were inducing feedback into the electrical system. The manufacturer instructed me to switch around the ground and low beam leads on the connectors, to correct the problem. I just could not remember if all 4 lights came on at once while in high beam mode.

Pierce, I am no expert in dc theory, I am just repeating what the manufacturer told me. The following is some text from the description of the headlight assemblies I purchased:
After I installed these into my car, and turned on the headlights, the low beams would come on, and the high beams would have a very slight glow. When the voltage was measured to the headlight connector, it read 10 volts, without the car running. When the old headlights were reinstalled, everything was fine. When I called the manufacturer and told him of the problem, his words were that there was a feedback issue, and to switch the ground with the low beam wire. I did this and everything works fine, with the proper voltage being read at the connector.

THESE ARE FOR ANY CAR OR TRUCK THAT HAS 4 SQUARE 4x6" HEADLIGHTS.After I installed these into my car, and turned on the headlights, the low beams would come on, and the high beams would have a very slight glow.
