Default Power Windows conversion

Would / is it totally absurd, outrageously expensive, and unnecessary (in you mind) to convert a '78's manual windows into power windows?

I am wondering how much it would cost.

Let me know.

Depends on how you do it... There are custom kits out there that you can retrofit your car with. A lot of custom shops use them for either one off Hotrods OR people whom have handcrank windows and are tired of the cranking..Cost, depends on the shop that does it and what Labor they charge per hour, how many hours they charge and also how much the kit is.. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined this is a simple project. The hardest thing would be running the power lines. http://www.jcwhitney.com/Volvo-Windo...-600002789.jcw

Thanks for the link. Have you used JC Whitney at all?
Was there service/experience recommendable?

Thanks
