Rear tail & brake light mystry
90 240 DL sedan. Right tail light and brake light do not work.
I have replaced the bulb failure sensor, checked the fuses, checked the grounds at both the body and the circuit board but no success in getting power to the device. I have checked for voltage at the connector pins and but no voltage.
Any ideas on where to go next?

These old 240s are somewhat infamous for crappy fuses. Or rather, the fuse box can be some-what perspicacity. Often, even if the fuse is not blown, the contacts can get corroded, and need to be cleaned (ie, sanding). Mine is a 1991, but I notice that the brake lights are on fuse 7, which is also with the ABS. Do you know if you ABS works? If yes, that positively rules out fuses. I have found that anytime I have an electrical problem, the first thing I have to do is be certain it isn't a fuse issue. My experience is that it often is.
