Hey everyone,

I made a thread about 6 months ago regarding my overdrive being flaky and then eventually refusing to engage. Instead of replacing the relay or the solenoid I took someone's advice and decided to purchase the OD override 'kit'. To install this I need to (obviously) remove the solenoid from the tranny but I'd like to completely remove it from the vehicle and my Hanes is useless for this. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks.

 

It's held in by two bolts that have 12mm heads. You'll wan't a ratching angled wrench. Be sure not to strip the heads.
