hi guys,
today somebody hit my spotless 240 and didn't leave a note, so i'm coming here both to vent and to ask for help on how to replace the lens. i've just bought one on ebay, but i'm not really sure how to go about installing it once i get it. any ideas??

thanks for your advice!!

afaik, you have to replace the whole headlight bucket, which includes the reflector. they 'snap' onto the adjuster screws via 3 ball sockets, whcih are an SOB to get off on the old one and break about half the time. the whole adjuster plate + headlight assembly is screwed on the metal panel behind it with 3-4 nuts that are on captive bolts that are part of the adjuster plate. the turn signal is also attached to this same adjuster plate.
