right rear brake and tail lights don't work, turn signals and flashers ok
Hey guys,
I'm experiencing a strange and frustrating problem with my passenger tail lights and brake lights. The turn signals and emergency flashers are working fine, however. So far, I have replaced the fuses, the bulbs, the tail light assembly, and the bulb failure relay. I haven't tested the circuits to the assembly (I don't have a low voltage tester), but when I tried bypassing the left side it works on the right side. My best guess is there is some other relay that I don't know about, but I need some advice from the experts, or from anyone who has had similar issues? Thanks
Eric

My 1996 960 had somewhat of a similar problem, and I had a lot of helpful advice when I posted my problem. Maybe yours is something similar. Here is the link to my posting. https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-260-760-960-28/weird-electrical-issues-my-96-960-a-37563/
Thanks to Chris and Kate! I rechecked the ground connectors on both assemblies, but I discovered the ground connection to the wheel well was loose. All is well. Sometimes it pays just to go over everything twice. Thanks again for your help!
