I have a 94 940 non turbo. When I crank the car up it runs fine, then after maybe 5 minutes it starts to run really rough and die. I crank it back up and it does the same thing. I can drive it and it runs fine its just this idle thing i can't figure out. I have replaced the main fuel pump and the intake pump is working. One thing is that i notice the new fuel pump is loud - not sure if this is normal or not. O and the car has 230,000 miles on it. been a good car up to now.

Check fuel pressure regulator, they will do that. I had a 93 240 that did the same thing. Be sweet to the oring when putting it back in.
