Default seat wear/replacement

I have a 92 940gl great car, however front seats are looking ruff. Tried salvage yards but know luck yet. Currently seats are black leather and manually operated. Is it possible I could switch to power but unsure if car is wired for it. In addition would a 740 seat work as well?
Thank you

Yes a 740 seat would fit.

Wiring in a power seat is easy, I have '92 740 with 940 power seats-easy job- just run the + to the fuse box, and the -to the chasis by the hand brake! As far as junkyard seats, what I do is get passenger seats which are always better preserved and switch the cushions and backrests covers. The only telltale sign will be the whole for the lumbar on the inside, about the size of a quarter which can be easily concealed.
