Seating options on the 245
Could anybody tell me if the very back "hide-away" seat was an option, or did it come with all the wagons?
I was pulling some parts off of an 88 wagon, from the local salvage yard, and I do not believe it had the seat in question. Where the seat belt components would normally attach to the side, there was a retractable cargo net.
I bought the retractable cargo net, and I think I am going to remove the rear "hide-away" seat in my wagaon, then mount the cargo net where the associated seatbelt parts are currently mounted.
I have absolutely no intention of using that seat, and was curious if others have removed it for the same reason.

I've removed the rear seat from several wagons myself, used the area for tool storage, stereo amplifers, etc.
the rear facing seats are only useful for 2 small kids, who have to be old enough NOT to need booster seats, but under around 90 lbs and 5' tall.
