I'm wanting to buy a service manual for a 940. I need one with all the torque specs and all. I have used haynes manuals but i can't find one for a 940. Any better manual around??

 

Look for a chiltons manual.

 

I have A Chiltons, it has the torque values but otherwise is kinda vague. Got it at Strauss or Pep Boys, I forgot which..about $15 USD. Has a picture of an 850 on the cover.

The best resource IMHO on 7XX-9XX Volvos & the B230F /B230FT engines, is the Brickboard FAQ pages. Step by step procedures with lots of pictures. Lots of ways to repair rather than replace expensive parts! Plenty of theory as well.
