so glad...
I'm so glad my 740T wagon isn't lowered...
I had to drive around a bunch of 1-lane roads on an estate in the hills near here today, and there were a couple places where I am amazed I didn't scrape or bottom out making really tight U turns over big bumps.
My 740T is on 16" Hydra wheels, and the suspension is a bit stiffened, with bilsteins, HD overload rear springs, and IPD sway bars, on top of all new bushings, joints, and tie-rods.
if I could raise the car another inch, I'd love it, hahahah, but I've never scraped bottom.

What I'd really like to do is put some airbags inside my rear springs, so when my car is heavily loaded, I could pump it up a bit. I've already got overload springs on there, but if I could do airbags, I'd revert to stock springs for a softer ride when empty and use air pressure for heavy loads (2-3 camping trips/year, my wagon is loaded for bear).
I contacted AirLift, giving them my spring dimensions, and they told me they didn't have anything that would fit. which I'm scratching my head on, as I've heard other folks have done this.
I measured a spare spring as 4.75" OD and 3.80" ID, and I measured the coils as about 0.48" thick. The unladen spring stands 15" tall on the outside, and the inside is about 14" tall before the tapered last turn. there are 8 full turns and a tapered last turn that ends with a 2" ID on top where the washer+bolt hold it up.
Just now, I crawled under the car with a tape measure.... With the car sitting on level ground, there's about 10" length inside the spring. So maybe I should have given this number to airlift instead of the 14-15".
